There are no turtles unique to the Galapagos, although I am sure the oceanic ones stop by occasionally to see the Tortoises.
Tortoises are not turtles, whatever the French may say.
From a philosphical viewpoint, I disagree that not being a Cheetah makes it any more likely you are a turtle. I would argue the fact that you are posting on this site makes that statistically most unlikely.

Edit: turtles live much longer than cheeters, so if you are a turtle you have a long way to go for! Garapagos island is a good place I heard, I've never been though.
