No. I contemplated "Positive", but I found that too generalistic an attitude to give them.

But I do recognise a certain positivity (resulting from naievity and simplicity) in their general behaviour.

Hence that I chose to use positivity.

If you're talking about another word, then yes, it was a mistake.

American woman are very lazy, they make you do all the work then they just order a delivery pizza so they don't have to cook or wash the dishes. It's like a my friend Mario told me once when we were having cappuccino, you bang one American, you bang them all.

Ciao

Sadly, IN GENERAL the World'S opinion of Americans is not very good at all! Although, this is because of there political ways and so is unjust to the everyday citizen. (Here can I however cast my doubt on letting the "Bush Monsoon" have a second term... πŸ˜³πŸ˜•πŸ˜ ) Americans are so different from East to West and from North to South that this categorization is highly subjective ex: Americans from small towns in North England are amongst the nicest most courtious human beings I have ever met...much less snob than your average Europeen or big city bloke! (Oh, no comeback please in general I love Europeens and thier wit and charms...πŸ˜€) Anyway, to "generalize" the debate I have to say these are my characteristics of "an average American". Hope it helps you! : 1) chavaunist 2) proud 3) magnimous 4) wealth-driven 5) capitalistic 6) brainwashedπŸ˜€ 7) courageous or stubborn (undecided!) 8) lack of class compared to other societies 9) creative 10) winners (got to give to them!) 11) violent 12) in sex in the large sense of the word : simplistic, vulgar, childish, physical not emotional or spiritual. 13) they play chess like they do war...I will let you figure that one out!πŸ˜‰ This is my general observation, good day, Mike2119.

p.s: Please fellow American players do not be vexed by my list ; I have met a few Americans and have found them to be very pleasant and open-minded individuals (Isn't San Francisco in the U.S.A. after allπŸ™‚ ) but to the general public maybe mostly because of your political ways this is a big picture of how most of the World portraits you...now, can you do something about it? Of course! but do you care too? Hmm, That is a totally different question, now isn't it!πŸ˜‰ Let the Saying goes, God bless America, Mike2119.

I agree with that particular point. They believe all what TV give them without reflexion or asking themselves questions. They mix issues that have nothing to do together (Saddam Hussein and the WTC Towers for exemple). When I meet US people in the streets of Geneva, (I am touristic guide, see my blog - adress on my profile), they are always amazed by the other of thinking Europeans have. Check once this link showing where CNN put Switzerland in Europa (http://www.humour.com/images/AffichageImage.asp?VIDImage=2813&VIDThemeImage=2) and then go to a library checking for the same information in a world atlas... Such big mistakes can make people think that US citizen that have never visited Old Europe are only "smooth rednecks"... I got a brother-in-law living in US, and we have often separate ways of thinking, a different sense of humor and all the stuff that goes with... US people cannot even think that it is maybe doing something wrong, and that the saddest thing: no selfcritic.

ps (Sorry for my bad english, but if somebody wants to correct me, I'm always open. I only hope my thinking is clear enough for the readers. Thanks)
