Are any of you handy with Islamic calliigraphy or Arabic writing? I need to find a fairly high quality written version of these two phrases -

We come from God, and unto God do we return. Inalillahey wa ina illai hi rajiaon.

There is no God but God. La illa ha ill'Allah

I can look up the calligraphy, but I can't translate. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's actually "There's no God but Allah."

A much better English translation.

http://www.alislam.org/books/salat/05.html

is a good starting point. You should find both those phrases there, inter alia

Cheers,

EDIT: Having posted this, I looked at that site again, and the Arabic script is not all that clear. I'll look out something better...

EDIT (2) : Someone here: http://www.abju.com/forums

will doubtless help you locate the clearest versions.

Thanks for the help.

It's odd, I was just reading your reply when someone I work with arrived at my desk and saw me checking out the link. She asked why I was on an arabic site - I told her and it turns out she can write it out for me.
