Even with Nesta out, you have to fancy Italy's defence.
But I don't think its going to be a walk in the park. Australia will do really well to score from open play against Italy, IF the defence is on form.

I like to watch football, not how a ref can pull a yellow or red card.
I also would like to see that players who ask for a card gets one themself.
And that players get up after a faull and not stay on the ground for almost 5 minutes.

As for Pontings face it was just a one day game ,how did you do in the tests?
When you look at the ground 434 was never enough,and its good that you don't care if the South Africans never win anything else in your life cause thats what is going to happen.
At the end of normal time the score will be 1-1 and will be decided on penalties where Australia will win ,we have Schwarzer in goal this time.

As for Pontings face, I don't care if it was a one day game or if it was in my backyard. The smug, pompous Aussies (especially Bret Lee and old Ricky) couldn't stop beaming and laughing and patting each others backs when you guys made 400 with a few overs to go, already writing SA off. Arrogant Australians. Didn't even hold the record for 5 hours.
434 was never good enough? Please man. Hindsight is 20/20. It was a world record by a country mile, and judging by the Aussies reactions at the time they stopped batting, one would assume they thought it most certainly was good enough.
I don't much care about the tests. We don't profess to be the best team in the world, and all conquering like the Aussies do. I'm just glad we whipped you in the most fitting of fashions.
As for us never winning anything ever again... whatever. We still won the greatest ODI in the history of the game, bringing the mighty, arrogant, pompous Aussies to their knees.

I believe you still lost the series though .
You only hate the Aussies cause they have beaten you when the stakes were quite high.
As for being arrogant and pompous ,i believe that is half the reason that the Aussies are so good in the test match form.
And yes we are huge underdogs but we have been in all 3 games so far and you should really not right off those Aussies just yet, they still have more surprises left in them(remember they are part of the coalition of the willing and will use the shock and awe tactic).
