Can't we just shoot him in the balls and end all the pointless discussion?

😳 Without even getting into that ~ and the frightening implications when you realize this means that you're not just related to the various cruisers, losers, lurkers & flame-artists that stain this marvelous site with their presence - but that you might be their Dad, f'r gawd sake!!!
😞 Before Old Maggoty farts his way to consciousness and finds this thread, I'll admit that he and I are actually twin souls conceived by the clandestine operation of different fathers on different mothers.
And between us, Handjob, we're so old and shifty that you should be on "Elder Alert" at all times! 😉
Originally posted by widgetYou must admit that the resemblence is striking. I'm surprised I've never noticed it before. I suspect that you're both pod people.

Although babies make bad glue for relationships that are coming apart very few of us seem to consider that these badly glued babies can grow up to become serial killers, dictators and even presidents and first ministers of large countries with vast arsenals of weapons and soldiers to deploy.
Originally posted by rbmorrisPersonally, I think I could deal with that better - oh, for instance... than I could deal with being sent to die in the Falklands, getting roasted for Jesus in some inconsiderately muslim country or being shipped off to save Big Oil's interests in Iraq. 😞 But we all have our own warped perspectives, I guess.

Getting a little intimidated like Hopalong, Handjive??

As I take such pleasure in explaining the blatantly obvious... blah, blah, blah ...you have In Vino Veritas, their progress in challenge points (net and total) is intimidating to any clan leader, considering that they're not even one year old yet. Widget has coordinated his clan very well and is only now taking an interest in the leagues.
That's kinda what I figure, btw, Hopalong... Getting squirmy yet, my little toad buggerer?
However, perhaps Baby Handjob can be first on its block to come home in a box from Angola in 15 years when the Free World has its first real quarrel with China over international resource allocations 😉

My wife and I have been talking about having a child. Quite honsetly I've spent my life trying not to knock anyone up and while I think I'll make a decent Dad I'm intimidated by the whole concept.
I think too many people go blindly into having a child with no forethought and preparation. However, perhaps I'm overthinking this. I waited un ...[text shortened]... d I'm financially secure. Still having a child is a huge responsibility.
Any thoughts?
We have child who is a delight
but be under no misapprehension ......your lives will change for ever if you do this. Eating, sleeping, space, work, holidays, friends ... will all change ........
I think the key question is - do you want a new focus in your lives.
If not ... then stay childless,.... if so then go for it!

You've encountered me for all of ten minutes and you've got an opinion of me, good for you, how's it working out for you?
You do like to make stuff up to win arguments, don't you?
