Correcting grammatical mistakes during internet banter is tantamount to making 4th grade insults. It simply reveals lack of wit to come up with something better.

That is pretty mean to say and quite pointless HHH, why didn't you just leave the bracket content out?
Why is it pointless to point out that just because someone misspelled a word that their posts aren't worthy to be taken seriously. If any of these non English speaking top chess player were to give me advise on chess and they had trouble with a few words. You can bet I would listen. And I sure wouldn't be trying to correct their spelling. Unless there was a word that I truly didn't understand. And then I might just ask them if this is what they meant. The point I feel Huck was trying to make was, would spelling really in that case make their comments useless. I think not. And if Huck was trying to insult anyone he would have to include himself as well. For he is certainly not in the top 30 list either. So the accused insult was not an insult, but instead showing that people should be taken seriously regardless of their spelling ability. And not be nit picked to death. But at the same time. It is good to try their best.

sorry, i might have been a little unclear in my previous post. I can completely understand and fully agree with Huckleberry Hound's arguement. I just couldn't see why it was neccessarily to add the "(better than you part)". It was just those couple of words i didn't see why they were there. But as suggested they maybe have been taken out of context.

la la la, maybe i should just stay out of these things sometimes

If Nelson Mandella was illiterate, would that make his words useless, and worthy of nothing but purile jokes?

I don't think it's ironic.

His post, though repeated, is still accurate.

That's not fair. I can't translate because I don't know what language. I even tried pig Latin.
