The true measure of any man (or woman) is how he treats those he feels superior to, those he doesn't know, and those he doesn't like. I was reminded a couple of times today (out in the real world) that how we treat strangers says far more about us than how we treat friends. My two cents.

Why does loving a possibly non-existent God have to have anything to do with loving your fellow man? I don't love God, I don't even believe he/she exists, does that now mean I can't have a relaxed mental attitude and all that?

Me too, but if it's any consolation, I suspect it's all acting and not something he really believes. Nevertheless, it made me lose a lot of the respect I still had for the person behind the persona.
