One of these things is not like the others.

In particular, the 'e' you missed off in Roger Daltrey's name is unlike the other characters in your post because it is not there.

Yeah, you did.

No worry. I'm not the spelling police. We don't let that type into the Silent Majority.

Yeah, but you padded it with other words and you're not contributing to the slow choking of the RHP forums with METAPHORICAL STRANGLING STUPIDITY ALGAE, so I can't really be bothered to make stupid spelling posts at you.

I haven't read through all of the posts but McCartney could still sing it sweet or sinister! Especially his earlier stuff. My all time vote.

In some sort of order
Robert Plant
Ian Gillan
I prefered Brian Johnson to Bon Scott
Ozzy
Carl McCoy (Fields of the Nephilim)
Steve Tyler

Honourable mentions go to
Phil Lynott
Al Jourgensen (Ministry)
Rob Zombie
Dave Wyndorf (Monster Magnet)
Pete Steele (Type O Negative)
Zodiac Mindwarp

before i begin with my favourites, i would like to say that i'm sorry ravello but i absolutely hate Dave Mustaine's voice. don't get me wrong, i paid a packet to see megadeth at download last year, and they were awesome. one of my all-tiome favourite metal bands. but i bought rust in peace a good few years ago now and it took me oh so long to get into it because of his voice. it was just annoying! i don't mind it anymore, but i certainly wouldn't say it's a favourite.

now, down to my fav's.

bruce dickenson, paul rodgers (he has grown on me a lot lately) or either of the AC/DC singers.

but ol' bruce gets my main vote. he's just awesome. i prefer the first two maiden albums, but di'anno was not a patch on bruce. i wish i had paid to see maiden live when they did the early years gigs as opposed to megadeth. but you live and learn...

If I had to choose one, it would be Perry Farrell. Or maybe Maynard James Keenan.

Weird Al Yankowitz has an amazing voice, as calming as a babbling brook, or the cool autumn breeze through the colored leaves.

Not that I'm a hard rock fan, but I always thought that Corey Glover, the lead singer of Living Colour was pretty impressive.
