Somebody should drag you out of screaming. and then shoot you.

I'm sorry. That post was just unforgivable.

Either Bruce Dickenson, or Bonn Scott
You mean Bruce Dickenson the opera trained singer who can hit perfect notes and stretch his voice like a Pavarotti...or Bonn Scott who screams like someone who's drowning in a bucket of whiskey?

Mhmmmm...let's see....

Well...
Having gone through the entire thread, I gave up actually commenting on the bizarre remarks.

It's a difficult question that's been posed. I don't really like hard rock music. And even the "hard rock" bands I do enjoy (like ACDC) are hard to judge, because I get muddled up between liking the song and the voice that's singing it.

For example: I much prefer ACDC's music to Iron Maiden's. But, I can't honestly say that Bonn Scott's (or the new singer's) voice is better than Dickenson's.

And so I can only conclude that my favourite hard rock singer's voice sure as hell ain't Michael Bolton's.

yeah, it's not just about how well they can sing.
It's also about what their voice sounds like, and how it fits with their subject matter.

Where were the women in your examples of hard rock singers, are you sexist?
I'd invite you to kiss my ass but I'm afraid you'd take it as an invitation rather than the insult that it was meant to be

It's a tough choice isn't it.

Bonn has a gritty edge that Bruce just doesn't have it in him to create. If he sang a song like "girl got rythem", or "Shot down in flames" you'd be like. . . . riiigght, next.

Two totally different voices, great at what they do, or did in bonns caae.

By the way, the answer to the question was Mick Jagger.
