Who is it?

For me it is unquestionably Dieter Roth. Just listen to this example of his brilliance:

I'm with you on Glenn Gould. For Jazz, I'd pick Oscar Peterson.

I've had the misfortune of listening to Yanni. Good heavens, how atrocious!

Canon and Enchantment are actually quite nice, though!
But for most of the rest, I am not the new wave kind of guy...

I am more curious to know the nicest piano songs (fully piano or have quite a share in the song).

My list in random order of beautiful piano songs would be:
- Enchantment by Yanni
- In the Mirror by Yanni
- Cannon by Yanni
- Walking in the Air by George Winston (famous snowman song, link to my youth; I loved that cartoon...)
- Midnight stone by Keiko Matsui
- Nocturnal Perch by Andrés Roca
- La Valse D'amelie by Yann Tiersen
- Comptine D'un Autre Été: L'après Midi by Yann Tiersen
- Something I know as 'Moonlight sonata i' by Beethoven

And my very very very favourite:
- Nocturne in C-sharp Minor (1830) by Frederic Chopin

I really really really would like to see your favourites!
