I think this might make the next person to be offered the job a little unconfident in their employers and maybe even turn down the job. I know big sam still wants it so I say give it to him and let that be that.
PS: If they give it to McClaren, say goodbye to any kind of respect...as a Newcastle fan I see quite a bit of Boro, and European brilliance aside, they are a poor, poor team.
