I think there's something in that, if only because England are the Bolton Wanderers of World football, but the whole FA process stinks. No approach for Arsene Wenger by David Dein...I wonder why not?

PS: If they give it to McClaren, say goodbye to any kind of respect...as a Newcastle fan I see quite a bit of Boro, and European brilliance aside, they are a poor, poor team.
