does anyone know if you have to book/pay to take a bike on either a virgin train or a scotrail train? i've tried their web sites, but to no avail...
i'm never taking a bike on a train again if i can help it, what a much of *auto-modded*. "go to front of train* stop sitting on your bike on the train* don't ride your bike on the platform* *padlock your bike to a seat, if we crash they will sue you*
i was only on the *auto-modded* thing for 10 mins.

I think the times are the same as your peak and off peak tickets, is it 7-7 or something like that??
😕

the only thing you have to watch for is if the spaces are all taken - i have seen people be kicked off if there is no space for the bike in the "designated area"
[edit]and it was also peak time (8:15am & 6:00pm mostly)[/edit]
