I'm getting no pleasure out of his death, it will not bring back those he helped
murder, nor will it stop those that kill in his name now either.

I'm interested in how he died. An arrest and a trial in an open courtwould answer a lot more questions. Did the military kill him, the CIA, a suicide?

Took the might of the US (and coalition) army across at least three countries, a huge amount of money and huge number of lives; and Bin Laden might of died of old age.

Somewhere the real Bin Laden is smoking a victory cigar and smiling.

Still justifys the cost, and takes the focus off the economy and 10% unemployed.

i sit quietly reflecting on so much pain, such great losses
i take no joy in any death, feel no real sense of justice
i only hope that all the world can rest just a little easier
it just may be that a number of people we will never know about nor who they would have been will have a chance to live out their lives because their lives will now not be cut short by a murdering fanatical terrorist at some unpredictable and totally meaningless time and place in the future
it may just be so
i only hope that the murderous drive to commit deadly terror has been diminished in the world and that we can all be just a little safer now

for those who make jokes, i suppose i understand, for i too have made jokes at times when facing great pain

i take no joy in any killing
i hope we can take some joy in a safer world

Good job. Now all those insane Americans can rest in peace. Al-Q was never a threat in NZ but Americans can be a real pest and their wars on terror/blood lusters. Little difference.

So Americans are the insane ones? NZ was safe? Just like Bali? Just like all the other nations around the world other than the US that were also safe? You felt safe just because he hadn't gotten around to you yet?

Denial is fine so long as you are lucky. Be safe down there.

Ok you tell me how many innocent people died to achieve this goal? Ignorance is always the course of action. lol... more Americans alone died then happened in 9/11 and they weren't the ones on the recieving end. Maths isn't an American's strong point in their ego-manical thuggery.

To the NZ'ers who hate America: Just remember that without us you would have been a German colony.

There's a vacancy now. I wonder if many will apply.
