If this site wants to move to the next level with blitz chess, which I think is a marvelous idea, the games should affect players rating. Also there should be a live chat on the page so people can get games going. This is a replica of Uchess.com, and the chat was the only thing I though was missing from that site.

Your "blitz" rating would be separate from your "cc" rating--as it should be. I don't think there are any plans for a "spelling" rating, so you're safe...for the moment.

2 ratings??i dont think you should be rated on a cc for blitzing as it can be all diffent times...

Different game conditions would seem to dictate different rating systems. In blitz, you can win games with totally lost positions simply by running your opponent out of time. It does not prove your true chess acumen. Hence two ratings. makes total sense.
