Imagine your brain is like a hard drive with a maximum capacity.
Over your life you have filled it up woth all sorts of stuff.
If you needed to delete some memories, to free up some space, what would you remove?
I would begin by deleting all references to the band "Queen". I seem to be able to recall complete guitar solos, note for note, and lyric ...[text shortened]... big fan of the band. I'll keep Bohemian Rhapsody but the rest must gtfo.
More to come...
if you have a memory that you know you want to get rid of, simply think really hard about it whilst downing a bottle of spirit.
try it, youll be amazed that you cant remember a thing.

I'd erase all memory of times spent in Edmonton, Alberta, Niagara Falls, New York and Chiang Rai, Thailand and replace them with something much more interesting and not-so-bloody-dreary like... say... me eating jamaican meat patties on my couch watching reruns of Mr. Belvedere.
I plan on meeting someone there at some point. π

I went to one decent bar the whole time I was there.

I would find it interesting to remove the memory of some of my favourite musical pieces, so that I could hear them again like for the first time. My guess is that I would still like the music, and I would enjoy it more in some way because the parts that are meant to surprise the listener would surprise me again, but I would probably also enjoy it less in some way because some of the enjoyment is due to memories connected to the music.

Where I am now isn't much better. π
In fact it's pretty much the same, but somehow worse. ππ
