I used to spend a lot of time with a family from Uganda when I was younger and they always put hot milk on their cerial and in their tea. It makes the milk sweeter I think. Personally it's cold for me, cold in my tea, on my corflakes and fruit and fibre and cold on my porridge too, after the sugar has melted.

I have tried hot milk on Weetabix or Weet-Bix, that wasn't bad. But normally I have all cereals with cold milk. That also goes for porridge (which I ate a lot as a child), although of course the milk gets slightly warm when you put it on the hot porridge. Generally I am not fond of warm stuff in the morning. I don't drink tea in the morning, and I prefer to take a shower in the evening because I don't like the feeling of warm water in the morning.

A hot shower in the morning is the only way for me to start my day!! That is partly because I have to style my hair while it's wet though.

You should never use Hot water, warm only!

Same goes for soaking your tired sore feet.

Cold milk ALWAYS. Hot milk is for invalids and it's as horrible as most invalid food. Tried fruit juice but that's just ugh. Cold milk on oatmeal in the winter, with a little sugar, no salt.

Absolutely.

Cold milk wins for me (unless, as others say, it's porridge) but I'd still prefer piping hot milk as opposed to warm milk (room temperature warm).

Brown sugar, right? Not too much milk either.
Brown sugar preferably but I'll use white if that's all we have in. I tend to put too much milk in as I don't like porage that sticks to the roof of my mouth.

BTW, I like to crush cornflakes before I eat them. Makes you realise how much 'air' is in the bowl! (and the packet, for that matter).

Many years ago I am sure I read somewhere that there is as much nutrition in the cardboard box as there is in the cornflakes. Anyone else heard/read that?
