I used to spend a lot of time with a family from Uganda when I was younger and they always put hot milk on their cerial and in their tea. It makes the milk sweeter I think. Personally it's cold for me, cold in my tea, on my corflakes and fruit and fibre and cold on my porridge too, after the sugar has melted.
I have tried hot milk on Weetabix or Weet-Bix, that wasn't bad. But normally I have all cereals with cold milk. That also goes for porridge (which I ate a lot as a child), although of course the milk gets slightly warm when you put it on the hot porridge. Generally I am not fond of warm stuff in the morning. I don't drink tea in the morning, and I prefer to take a shower in the evening because I don't like the feeling of warm water in the morning.

Brown sugar, right? Not too much milk either.
BTW, I like to crush cornflakes before I eat them. Makes you realise how much 'air' is in the bowl! (and the packet, for that matter).
Many years ago I am sure I read somewhere that there is as much nutrition in the cardboard box as there is in the cornflakes. Anyone else heard/read that?
