Is that Putin sitting on the sideline, and grinning, awaiting his chance to regain his territories they lost in the previous upheaval of the regions? And the Sirian exodus is helping him nicely...

The Brits like to think of themselves distinct from Europe but when looking
across the pond to US we can see where our natural allegiance should lie.

    It's only natural.

After all, English and white Americans are the same.

If Britain were to leave the EU, I predict Scotland would separate from the U.K. and side with the EU. That would leave England and Wales to go it alone; not a pretty prospect.

Status quo will most likely prevail.

As for losing sovereignty to Brussels -- the U.K. lost that a long time ago to the Bundesbank in Frankfurt. The U.K. won't get it back by exiting the EU now. At least Britain has a vote in Brussels; they never had a vote in Frankfurt.

Indeed sir. How would we ever survive without the haggis and whisky.

It would be a big mistake for Scotland to leave the Union at this time of low oil prices .
I hope we do leave and I think we will .

If I remember correctly there was a vote on the Scottish-English Union.
    And Scotts wanted to stay.

I predict the same for the English European relation.

How does the Bundesbank excercise sovereignty over the UK? I think you may be conflating the Monarchy, Westminster, Brussles and the banking system.

Here it comes. This is exactly the kind of scaremongering I was talking about.

We moved a few weeks in direction of the date.

Martin Wolf, in the FT, makes strong arguments for the remain camp.
