If Britain were to leave the EU, I predict Scotland would separate from the U.K. and side with the EU. That would leave England and Wales to go it alone; not a pretty prospect.

As for losing sovereignty to Brussels -- the U.K. lost that a long time ago to the Bundesbank in Frankfurt. The U.K. won't get it back by exiting the EU now. At least Britain has a vote in Brussels; they never had a vote in Frankfurt.
If Britain were to leave the EU, I predict Scotland would separate from the U.K. and side with the EU. That would leave England and Wales to go it alone; not a pretty prospect.

It would be a big mistake for Scotland to leave the Union at this time of low oil prices .

If I remember correctly there was a vote on the Scottish-English Union.
And Scotts wanted to stay.
I predict the same for the English European relation.
