I said the en passant remark as a joke, I think the Help Forum is mostly new people asking for help. I am glad you seem to agree with me that noobs should be allowed to seek help there. I think that is exactly what was in mind when it was set up.

Think about it...letting people come on and create multiple accounts, spam, troll, and flame AND then finally get caught gives you all something to talk about it. It adds excitement to your otherwise desperately quiet lives. It is the reason the site exists and the reason many of you come.
It isn't a flaw in the system, it is a raison d'etre.

Look, Russ and Chris could fix this stuff in a second...20 or 30 different ways. They don't.
It is not an issue of money, time, or intelligence.
They don't fix the multiple problems because it adds to the excitement.
Multi's, Flaming, trolling, spamming and all the controversy could be erradicated over night.
It isn't. Why?
Because that is what you come for. That is what make this chat room exciting.
The forum mods aren't here to moderate.
They are here to proved a legal buffer for RHP against potentially actionable statements. Read up on a website's liability for statments made on a moderated versus and unmoderated forum.
The mods are just pawns. They were selected for their "ability" to add the entertainment value of the site's primary function: this chatroom.

Me, Cad, st00pidfac3, Trevor33, Demonseed, M ceilliar, Rossroe, and a few others are about to enjoy a good pissup, drinking session, and chess meet on Saturday. The only reason this has been made possible is through the strong community we have here in the forum. You even showed interest in the florida meet, and you've posted in at least three other threads in this forum in the last 24 hours....that is in itself, a bit two faced.
If the forum needs a little tweek, so be it. If you don't agree with them, don't post...you will be sorely missed [/sarcasm]
