How many times have the JW's been wrong about the end of the world.
They thought it would come soon after 1914. On one of their magazines
they had a picture of 16 people and the article read

These people will see the end.

The Mormons believed in Polygamy. They have changed that.

The Catholics used to have the mass in Latin and the priest had his back
to the congregation for the entire time. This changed when they brought in
Vatican 2 in 1963.

They also frowned upon cremation favouring burial only.

They have changed their minds about that too.

If someone found a true religion, would not that religion
hold true throughout the ages.................without changing?


Cremation is looked upon now as acceptable.
Not only is it acceptable but is is quicker cleaner and cheaper
than burial. It was a practical economic decision.

Not a religious one.


When are you going to wake up and realize,
religion, all religion, is man made and has nothing to do
with any GOD?

Hardly ever a bad comment from him

unlike me.

I may not agree with all that he says and I do like to yank his chain.

But overall the guy is a gentleman.

I live next door to Utah. They used to knock a lot. I'd give them coffee or ice water. I figure if you're gonna tell me, you also better be ready to listen. They don't come by anymore. I'm sure they have a list.
