Still using the ref excuse?

You played well. Even with 10 men you had the most dangerous opportunities even though we had control of the midfield. At the end, Ricardo was the man and that's it.

What did the ref do for Christs' sake? It's over for you, at least have some dignity.

Spot on. Come on, guys, you can rub it in cos we would so the same to you, but it only takes a shread of honesty to admit that England had a very raw deal today from the ref.

I thought they played quite well, considering.

I look forward to Ronaldo getting a 'fair hearing' from English supporters next season, if he has the guts to come back!
complete and utter balderdash my friend.

the ref had an excellent game, even motson and lawrenson thought so.

I wonder how that works? Players beating each other in pivotal matches that are on the same club...

That has to be awkward...

Ref basher Eric Wynalda said he was dumb. I thought a red card was a bit much for Rooney's little shove myself.

Keep on the "We woz robbed". We've been hearing them for the past 40 years ever since your last victory against us. It just makes you sound pathetic.

Stepping on Carvalho's nuts isn't enough for a red card? You people are really blind when it comes to football.

It didn't really look like he tried to stomp his boys, but lost his balance and put his foot down to catch it.

He tried obviously to step on Carvalho, the way he puts his foot so further back. It's clear. The fact it was his balls isn't deliberate, but it's a red card even if he deliberately stepped on his leg or arm.

So rooney instinctively knew how to stamp there without actually seeing, yeah?
Carvalho fell with his balls under Rooney's boot?

Pathetic. It really is. It's over, have some dignity.

The commentator I was listening to said he wouldn't be surprised if Rooney chins his Man Utd Portugese team mate for getting him sent off with his antics.

So no, they didn't all think it was fair.
