Hmm. A cheater like the rest. I feel so unsatisfied. There are too many cheaters here.
EDIT: Now how about catching the persons using a computer to make one, three or five moves during a game? Is that even possible? I hate playing 30-40 moves with mistakes both ways and then suddenly meet an endgame master who make no mistakes and can foresee my every advance/move (no name mentioned since we can all have moments of genious).

When a subscriber is banned, we send them an email notifying them of the reasons. They are unable to log into the site. We do not resign all their games immediately and so they have an opportunity to put their case if they have one.

Not that I'll have sleepless nights over it though!
Myrthir was banned today for 3b!
damn this is crazy. I seem to rememeber someone implying he was a cheat in another thread when someone asked why no one would take his open invite that was up for weeks!
I guess he was a suspected cheater by all the ppl over 2200 already?
pretty busy week for bannings!
Originally posted by TuranthorI believe Mythir and ironman were the same person. There's no way for me to prove that, obviously, but i always suspected The Po and Fernando V and they turned out to be on in the same also..

Originally posted by MarinkatombI doubt it. I doubt they would have allowed Myrthir to stay if IM was the same person, they can tell very easily if they're the same person by their IP address

Originally posted by HomerJSimpsonNo, that doesn't follow at all. I was living next door to Jay D for a year and we were using the same connection. Sharing an IP address proves nothing...

Someone said that they thought that Myrthir was an engine all along because of no one accepting his open invite, well I think that, that's more because a) he always wanted white b) he only wanted people 2200+, which is a group of 20 people, all of which have more than their fill of games as they're subscribers
Originally posted by HomerJSimpsonWell i suspected it mainly because Mythir was one of Ironmans loudest defenders. He claimed that they had written a book together and posted a link. Mythir also said he was leaving because of IM's banning, then he reappeared. Why? Why come here and play one game at a time when you are so obviously p;ssed with the site? To keep tabs on developments?

Originally posted by MarinkatombAlso, you could be working in a large company with over 500 computers on the same address. [playing whilst at work]

You can't ban everyone there.
