The world's worst beer?
I'd have voted for Indonesia's Bali Hai bottled pilsner up until about 15 years ago at which point they clearly had some kind of revamp and relaunch and came out with Bali Hai "Premium" which is what I want to order whenever I go to a cafe.
Meanwhile, the current Bali Hai "Draft" [it's a bottle, not draft beer, mind you], while not quite as bad as Bali Hai once was, does point back towards the bad old days. Even just one bottle seems to cause a headache the next morning.
These days, with Bali Hai distribution having not fully bounced back from being cuffed on the chin by the COVID closure and restriction of so many cafes and bars, and having long-since tired of the market leader and ubiquitous Bintang's metallic aftertaste and the fact that they have made it sweeter over the last 10 years [for the gradually expanding domestic market and local taste buds], I tend to drink Anker, which, back when Bali Hai was dire, was similarly dire.
Presumably, there's no point asking Canadians travelling in Indonesia about this kind of thing given the state of their beer. Whenever I corner one, I tend to ask them how many seconds it usually takes them to establish that they are not from the U.S. when they start talking to the strangers they meet.
@very-musty saidWe don't have skunks, seems like we're missing out though. Although we'd call it ye olde rotten skunk piss.

Canadian beer has a lot of alcohol I've heard 🤔
