Plus: at darts you can (more or less) immidiately tell if a shot was good. In a chess master game the majority of people including the majority of chess players will be at a loss to tell if a move was well or not.
It’s a pity the BBC doesn’t add a chess programme such as the Sky at night on a Sunday evening once a month.

I think they miss the point completely when they decide what people want to watch, if all the nation wanted was second rate (is there a first rate?) soaps then their job would be complete, but its not.
Sadly, the TV is taking a very serious turn for the worse, with the likes of all these competition shows that use psychological warfare to extort money from viewers by phoning in.
