For some reason I don't believe China is concerned about the US, Japan or Australia all showing their presence nearby. I believe they have become the new world power. Many are starting to see it!

It is the case that every nation plays a geopolitical role, and some of these role are opposed to our interests.

Carl Schmitt wrote extensively about how political enemies should never be treated as personal enemies, and how many classical languages even had words distinguishing the two (like Greek).

It is not just appropriate but necessary to stand in opposition to unjust nations that pose a threat to your own nation or to others, like the poor Uighurs.
