But yes what is the connection, do they have any truffle in them at all. Very dilute form of truffle oil or essence maybe.

Truffle the fungus is from the Latin trufera meaning root/tuber.
No truffle oil in chocolate truffles (hopefully some dark rum though!) mmmmm
