We should never eschew advancement, insofar as said advancement is actually helping.

Take, for instance, the internet: a veritable cornucopia of information, a wealth of knowledge at our literal fingertips. Why are so many people who use it such dolts? Why, instead of immersing themselves in such sites as SpringerLink, do such an overwhelming amount of people slather themselves in porn?

This says nothing of facebook, MySpace, twitter, Buzz, ad nauseum. Sometimes a step forward is really a step back.

You're not seriously comparing social networking sites to climate science are you?

There is science, and then there is power-grabbing. Do learn to tell the difference between the two, won't you?

Their job isn't to predict the weekend weather. That's a different field from climatology, not that you want to be bothered with such mundane details and all.

I already know where to get a decent weekend weather report: from a Flight Service Station. So, you see, with a bit of unbiased effort one might actually arrive at something meaningful.

If sticking your head in the sand makes you happy that you might not hear, then by all means continue.

Moron? I take it the record snow is invisible to you? The record low temperatures seem unclear? The only hot air comes out of Al Gore's and the scumbag lying scientists you so love. You are willing to accept scientific dogma and have the audacity to call other people morons? That's really laughable. Yet these scientists and leftist politicos count the overabundance of useful idiots tp push their agenda. Keep it up. I'm sure they lvoe you dearly!

it's 20 degrees warmer than 'record temperatures' here, and it's the coldest winter in over 20 years.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. It takes greater faith to belive what you belive in than believing in creationism quite frankly. Perhaps Scott Borwn's Mass. victory was glob ...[text shortened]... grammy's, ad nauseam. Keep it up guys. Global warmists are by far the most amusing moonbats!
riiiiiight! and the miles of melted polar ice caps and glaciers? are those a vast left wing conspiracy? maybe they doctored the tape measures that they used to document the retreat of the glaciers. Global warming is a FACT. The causation is being argued, but the effects are not arguable🙄

Technical advance often legitimizes license and opens

the old sluice gates of degeneracy wider. Nothing new.

Arrogant to assume any creator (of anything) is incapable of sustaining the creation...

and total asininity personified to presume that said creator requires our feeble help.
