I believe she could have gotten away with an implied "I" for her subject there Ice. Granted it isn't proper, but there are many much worse cannibalizations of the English language.

I know it's not true, I am just saying that's what we learned in school. Well, we did learn some rules, for example that you have to use commas between items in a series, including in front of the "and" of the last item (that's different from German). But a lot was left open, basically saying "do as you like".

There was an animated series called School House Rock, they had math, english, etc. It was a series of short lessons set to music.
It was an insane idea to try and make learning fun. If not for these cartoons, most Americans would be total morons.

I am sure they will have some examples or episodes somewhere on the internet. Like for conjunction usage, the episode was titled "Conjunction Junction".

It really doesn't matter, but I believe School House Rock was the main program, but they had sub programs called Grammar Rock, History Rock and Fraggle Rock. I won't swear to that, but that is what I seem to recall. Been many years since the kids watched it. But yes, that is the program line I was referring to.
