Every cloud as they say.

@The-Gravedigger

Could be worse. It's really tough not to stop and read some of them as I catalogue them.

@Gambrel

My sister collected a lot of strange (to me) more modern comics.

Although the last box I was in was all either Superman or Action comics. Ah, the memories.

Asterix.

The Furry Freak Brothers.

@FMF
I haven't heard of those. Most interesting character I've seen so far is Battle Pope.

Yeah, I like them, too. I am more of a DC fan than Marvel. I just wish DC had as good movies as Marvel.

I liked the DC series they've produced over the last 10 years.

Green Arrow
Flash
Batwoman
Supergirl
Black Lightning
Superman and Lois
Legends of Tomorrow

All really better than I expected.

Marvel had a few in association with Netflix.

Jessica Jones
Luke Cage
Iron Fist
Daredevil
The Punisher

All very good.

The Dark Knight is arguably the greatest comic book movie ever made. The '89 Batman is up there two, so are the the first two Superman movies with Chris Reeves.

Marvel has more good movies than D.C. but Marvel's best doesn't compare with D.C.s best.

And I haven't seen Joker yet, which was nominated for an Oscar. Now that I mention it, I'll see that tonight.

My sister had a lot of what seems to a "different" collection. I say that from what is of course, a much different vantage point than what she had. I know that just because I have not heard of something does not mean it is bad. One learns a lot about a person while going through a collection like this.

I use to collect hockey cards as a kid, should have did the comic books instead. They worth some money today if you have the right ones.

I will have to watch The Dark Knight again. I liked the first two Superman movies, too.

I like reading your opinions.

One of the things about my DC appreciation as opposed to Marvel is that I can tell when a DC story line starts to stray from the myth a bit too much.

I can't think of any comic/movie examples right now but the last Dune movie irked me a lot with the ending it had. I won't discuss it with you if you tell me you haven't seen it yet.

I didn't know Dune was a D.C. property but I don't plan on watching it.

I don't mind if movies stray from the source material so long as they capture the spirit of it. A good movie is more important than an accurate one when adapting other fictional properties.
