Blaming foreign coaches is pure scapegoatism IMO. If they've got the credentials they can do the job.

well why dont you ask yourself why these Asian teams keeping appointing foreign coaches?

I dont like this kind of rubbish talk.

if all of these Asian countries did not have so much dis-unity and correcption in their selection boards, they would not have to appoint 'foreign coaches'πŸ™„

I recall NZ's John Wright having a turn at coaching India.
He was a real hero in the Hadlee glory days of NZ cricket but his batting was very unorthodox with his legs wide apart and bat held high.. but he coached counties in uk too.

It isn't foreign coaches its the slow pitches in asia.. kids grow up bowling in dust bowls or soft long grass they can't bowl fast on. I saw a doco once showing at least a thousand kids practising cricket on a dusty field no bigger than one typical school sports field in UK.. lots of games going on no facilities at all but not one whinging and all enjoying themselves.. I think it was a Michael Palin trip.. as he approached kids ran up and spouted the names of all the England team and said what wonderful stars they were..all so knowledgable and happy to have Palin filmed playing cricket with them.. brilliant.. but down the road the rich played bowls on a manicured bowling green and ex pats played cricket on a perfect pitch.

I seems to me that there is a caste system there akin to the English feudal times facilities, don't appear to be there for the low caste people to play sport. The money went on a nuke programme instead.

everytime a team does not live up to the expectations of their fans, people always come up with all theses stupid thories.

Same thing happened with the England football team when they under-performed in the world cup(s)!

Why did these people not complain when these people were appointed in the first placeπŸ™„

PS I remember John Wright, he was a very under-rated opening batsman who i flet never got the credit he deserved because he played for NZ... as opposed to say playing for AUS or England.
