What about a person's duty to the human race not to cause suffering in another human?

I like how he used priapism in an attempt to look smart even though a less cromulent word would have done just as well.

EDIT: Chancre wouldn't know an erection if one choked him to death.

I'm sure that's exactly what the American Soldiers were doing in Abu Graib.

As a red blooded American, I apologize for his hypocracy. Freedom? Does this not mean that Cindy Sheehan can protest if she wants? That a person can be a Democrat and not be criticized for it? I'll leave the 'right wing' off. Jerk.

Its sad how during a debate of views, you choose to see only one side of the picture. How about the poor prisons of the other side who are continually MURDERED, or did you forget about them??? Fact of the matter is, had a lot of folks not stood up to people like Hitler, you wouldn't even be allowed to talk like this. That's the wonders of freedom. Reminds me of the 70's when the hippie's were burning the flag, and protesting Vietnam. A few loud mouths yapping off, at the price of someone else's sacrifice. The bottom line is this, were there weapons of mass destruction....NO, did Saddam need to be taken down....YES. Only problem I see is we should have done it during the 1st war with them, and the troops would probably be home by now. Your freedom to exchange views has been won by men and women who stood up for what they believed was right, or at least their Gov't believed was right. Most don't question it, they just try to do their best, and hope they come home safe to their families. Seems to me the least we could do is to support them, or is that too much to ask??

Yes, it is too much to ask that people support a brutal, murderous occupation of another country. The propaganda about "supporting the troops" doesn't cut it with me; the best way to support the troops is to try and make sure they don't have their lives thrown away for ignominous purposes. The military of a country is to protect it from attack from foreign shores. The presence of US troops in the Middle East ever meddling in the internal affairs of the people there and killing ten of thousands of them, makes our country less secure. Surely the lessons of the last few years make that clear. To continue to try to dominate other countries for the enrichment of a few and the misery of the many (including most Americans) is folly and one has a patriotic duty to oppose a government that does such things.

If that is true, then why was Bush re elected? Seems to me you should be protesting the Gov't, not the troops carrying out their orders?
