Did anyone play the old computer game 'Deuterous'? It was on the Amiga (and so probably the Atari), a space exploration game, but a storyboarded one. A cross between a Civ style resources/battle game and an adventure style game. It was brilliant, but I've never found anyone else who played it.
If anyone has a playable version or ideas on how to get one, that'd be even better.

I used to have that game. It was my favourite game of all time, but the problem was on my version the storyline didn't advance when you destroyed the Methanoids in the solar system. You were supposed to get some interstellar technology but nothing ever happened😠 I would also be very interested if anyone had a version that you could play today. Boy, what a great game that was...

It was actually called Deuteros by the way...

Commodore Amiga. About 1989ish i think. It cost him 500 quid for an extra half meg of RAM. Blimey. It was a strategy game that nvolved getting a glass sphere to the exit by blowing up certain blocks. I can't find a mention of it on the Internet. How do i go about installing an emulator on a PC by the way?

try this:
http://www.winuae.net/

I tried the mac version but it doesn't work, maybe because I don't have a floppy disk drive.

It says the same for me, saying I need to get ROMs. ??? Pity there aren't any decent instructions.
Try the other link above for Amiga software, just navigate away from Deuteros if you don't want it.

HELP!

If anyone knows how to get this software working I am desperate to play Deuteros.

I ran WinUAE on Mac OS 9. You need a kickstart ROM. Legend has it that a file, 'kick.rom', is floating all over the internet: on the web, GNUtella and torrents, but they're of course illegal😉

Message me and I'll draw you a map.
