It doesn't work like that. One partner will step aside and forgo the bonus points you get from being in the victory coalition: 25% in a four-way, if I'm not mistaken. I'm guessing Alazorn will waive his claim. He'll still have a respectable tally.

I had a huge force wiped out in Age of Conquest which made me a bit gun-shy about attacking a fortification ... as it turned out I would have taken it comfortably.

Your citadel, two towns on islands and two other provinces are still in your possession. The citadel is under siege, and one of the other provinces will go down easily. The islands may or may not survive for a bit; depends on a few things.
