Originally posted by nook7I got one asking what realm I'd like, I e-mailed the GM saying I'd like one of the 3 elvish realms, he told me a little about them and I opted for Elandor. He came back to me saying that he'd found another royal player asking for that realm which preceeded my request so I asked for Anorien instead.
l haven't been told which one l have yet!
Liam, Did you fins out by email?
Originally posted by StarrmanThanks Liam, l have asked for an Elvan realm as well, but have not received any reply...

Originally posted by nook7I would have liked an elven realm, but being a commoner and replying rather late, I was aware that my chances to get that were close to zero, so I rather went for something else (although I mentioned that I would have liked to get an elven realm). I got a reply that my preferences have been added. I don't know how likely it is that I'll get what I want. I just hope I don't get one of those uncivilized guys who can't spell. ðŸ˜

Right I've downloaded the diploware and Ive had a quick look through the tutorial, I've also read and gotten completely confused by the rules. Is there anything else I should be doing? If I don't send any preference of character will one be assigned to me? I'm guessing that as a henchman I want to be aligned with a powerful royal but will map position count in my decision?
so many questions, so little time.
Yours sincerely

If you don't ask for a nation, one will be assigned based on what no one else has asked for.
I don't know anything about the Henchman stuff, but I imagine a close Royal would be more useful than a distant one.
so.. anyway to change the displayed font? that is just brutal on the eyes.. I have winxp, so its not like I need to download the font they suggest.. couldn't they make it darker? Or, is that just the font on the tutorial? is the game that hard to read too?
edit: My 3 choices for realms were
1. House Du’Mord (drow)
2. House Lethloriel (drow)
3. the Blighted Ones (undead)
Cool, I got the realm which was my first choice (not counting the elven realms which seemed to be out of the reach for a commoner). Now I'd better start studying the rule book. I have had a look at the map, but couldn't make much sense of it (I couldn't even find my realm 😕). Is there any way to see the whole map at once?
