I'll happily keep the map going this game if you want. In fact I've already started putting it together.

Thanks, don't we already have a map in the diploware or will this show everyones position?

Haha - neither do I, Lord of the Lardbelly ... errr ... Ironbelly Clan!

We'll have to team up under an alliance of wee-inkling! 😵

The map in diploware is very difficult to get info from and static. The maps we have been using for Medieval Diplomacy (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y170/rwingett/dipmap.jpg) shows the nations easily and can be updated quickly.

Jeez, I don't think I've done so much clicking and then cancelling in about 10 years. HOPEFULLY I have my turn done now. I am brain dead after reading the rules so many mistakes have probably been made.

Hmmm... if you have your turn done already... you're not doing any diplomacy?

treetalk - ironbelly clan

I'm not sure about this phase thing ... if an army has say 3 move points and I move somwhere using 1MP and then immediately move it again, will the first move be during phase 1 and the 2nd during phase 2?

If I own province A and B and wish to attack C (on a linear A-B-C line, say) I first hold the army in B, march the army in A to B; then order both army A and B to attack C ... ?

(So in my main plans it'll have something along the lines of: phase 1 - hold army B, move army A into province B. phase 2: invade province C with army A, invade province C with army B ...)

Italy's been taken over by the mob?
Actually, this looks quite fascinating.

You can always add to your turn and send the new turnfile in, I guess.
(I think the game mods accept up to 8 or so files and will use only the last one received, I think)

I've sent two in already and will probably need to redo something ... I'm tempted to reload the original file received and start again, to be honest!

I have only the vaguest idea of what I'm doing!

Yep, that's about the size of it. Phase timing is everything in this game.

Cheers, Starrman.

I'll go through the rules a little more carefully.

I've just noticed that one guy seems to be playing two realms:

The Elves of Elandor rcbecker1@...
House Tyrandar rbecker32@...

ATY do you know anything about this? This is also the guy that pipped me to house Elandor, anyone claiming ownership of these realms?

It also occurs to me that, since there are such things as covert operations, a mpa showing everyone's positions is both impossible and counter-productive. Instead, I'll make a map showing the names of the people and the realms they belong to as a starting point. After that I guess it will have to be up to you to update the map each for yourselves and keep it private.

That's why I declined to do the map this time around.
