yeah, is the rule book available on a site i can access from work and photocopy?
I cant download it here, but its my only access to a printer.
With respect to building up a good relationship with distant realms, don't bother. Accept the alliance but don't read too much into it. Distant realms will decide what to do with you once you or your allies come into combat with them or their allies, and then it will be an alliance vs alliance thing probably.

Am I supposed to get a confirmation if I send my turn by e-mail? I first tried the auto-send, which seemingly didn't work, then I tried to send it via the webpage, which didn't work either. So I sent it by e-mail now, but so far I haven't got a confirmation.
Originally posted by NordlysI never, ever get confirmation for anything I send in, but it never fails to arrive. Best to send your turn in twice, say the day before its due and then on the day. (I typically email mine in only once, at the last minute.)

Originally posted by Bosse de NageI sent mine via the web page, and got confirmations every time.

Originally posted by cadwahThe autosend seemed to work fine for me (unlike the upload on the webpage), only I didn't get a confirmation and got an e-mail from the GM later saying that he hadn't received a file from me yet, so obviously it didn't work. I hope the e-mail gets through, otherwise I am in trouble. Or maybe I have messed up so badly that I am in more trouble if it does get through. 😉

Originally posted by Bosse de Nage😉 I e-mailed two versions today. I knew there was something wrong with my orders in the first one, but sent it anyway because it would probably still have been better than nothing. Then I managed to fix the problems and sent the updated file. Now my orders don't have any obvious problems, but I wouldn't be surprised if they mean something completely different from what I think they mean.

Edit: No confirmation yet, but I just got admitted to the Yahoo group. That was fast.
