A close friend deals weed (cant spell maruana but thats the phonetic spelling if you didnt know what weed is) and i know he makes a lot out of it but im not keen on him doing it. its not on a big scale at all, its just to friends etc, selling 8ths mostly, buying an ounce at a time off of his supplier and selling on for a tidy profit. i know this is illegal but just how bad would the trouble be if they got in trouble with police?

That's piddly. In Canada, that kid would get in more trouble with his Parents than with the Police. Some Cops would just pocket the kid's stash and send him off with a warning.

In Canada I believe it's a ticketable offense to be in possession of 29 grams or less, and a more serious crime (meaning possible jail time and large fines) to be in possession of more than 29 grams. Have to double check, but there was a big to-do about this a few years back when PM Cretien decided things weren't laid back enough here. 😵

35, wasn't it?

These rules are never enforced though, regardless of what Chretien said. When's the last time you heard of someone getting a ticket for smoking or possessing weed? 😵

Apparently it was broken down into 0-15 grams (ticket), 15-30 grams (ticket or court summons), and 30+ grams (court summons). However, the bill was never passed. 😞

But true enough, I've never heard of a ticket being issued for smokin' the dope.

Don't be mislead; they're only speaking for Canada. In England, the policy is likely more strict.

He does actually, how did you know. And in england we are more civilised than electric chair, we are sensible and let the f*****s out halfway thru their prison sentance after theyv had time to refine their murdering techinique.

No, I've heard of that happening! Same with riding your bike through a stop sign! 😲
