100% agree with Exy: problem is in the scoring system. Some time ago I proposed to base rating calculation on the max. between ratings at the start and end of the game.

Dustin is a very busy person and a great player. He can get a low rating in a few days but he geta recover those points in a few days too. So every time he does that in our games i wait until he got his rating higher so that we can continue.
I don't know why u people complaint about his rating if u want to be the best u have to beat even the lowest rating and ur rating won't be affected.

For his rating to rise, he must beat people when his rating is too low. If everyone waited for his rating to rise to move against him, his rating would never rise.

Thus, some people have lost many more points than they should have because of Dustin's rating antics.

WOW! This site is wonderful at moments and then at others, it can be full of garbage...you accuse malone about his rating, because he got timed out in the past, that means nothing! Thats rude of you! Inconsiderate, and if you have a problem with me, then take it out with me! The Reason for the final time, which by the way i dont have to tell anyone here because its none of your business! I resigned some games because i wanted to focus on my clans and my clan games! It had nothing to do with this Antics you are talking about! All of you BBARR and others, get your facts straight! okay! Your starting to get on my nerves. Do you have no lives to the point that all you can do is gossip about simple people with their own lives and complications. Geeshhhhh I have to run a huge company, and srudy for school, plus juggle how many sponsors and potential sponsors, and sometimes i cant get to my games, they get timed out! So get mad at me! Wonderful, criticize my actions, Wonderful! Create little threads to disect my history and contradict my actions, Wonderful! Treat me like an outkaste, even better! But you know what i have made some amazing friends on this site! And i have met unbelievable and inspiring people! I have played games against all talents and all levels, of which do i ever complain that when i lose to 1100 rated players or when i get timedout by 800 rated players, do i complain, no i work harder to compete with all of you and work on all my gameS! Thats called, having dignity, i dont whine because i lose, i whine because you all whine about my lossing lol.. How is that possible!???

So in closure, stop wasting my time, the simple time of all the people who read this thread, stop criticizing me before you know any of the facts! Dont call me down and stop actiing like im destroying your life because i beat you at chess. Suck it up, get on with your lives and learn that there is nothing more to all this then just chess! ITs Chess! Go home, be with your families or do whatever you do!

i think a rating floor would be great for solving this potential "problem".. although, personally i don't really care about it at all.

Using average rating between start of game and end of game to calculate the rating change would be an interesting compromise.

Dustin, you have done the same thing several times, with several different accounts-- started loads of games, then resigned them all or quit playing and gotten timed out. That is a matter of public record. It doesn't make sense to act like this was an isolated incident.

Did you not just say that you dont want me to resign my games??? Look maybe the rating system being suggested would be more fair, but this has happened a total of 5 times, where i have had to resign my games. Ive been playing here for something like?? atleast a year??? come on, alot can happen in that time, i am young, and not always can i do the amazing! so please some accusing me of garbage lies that make no sense, I am just going to play my games..have fun, keep my friends, and work on my clan, as it says in my profile, which it has said for a couple days now.
