Now living in Cairo. It's a decent place, come over for a dish of koshary and a game of chess. I'll be waiting.

I've heard India is even worse.

I was there last month - it's madness. Road markings are non-existent, headlights at night are optional and you don't dare drive. Take a taxi. Also, crossing the road is a leap of faith.

Interesting place though. It's home to the Russian school of architecture.

There's a really nice little Italian restaurant on the north end of Zamalek.

Cairo is nothing but pyramids and the airport ranked as "worst in the world". Who would like to live there?

Sorry, I knew there would probably be some collateral damage. What I meant was that he sounds like the image he paints of Americans, but it would have been less funny to say it that way.

Based on your posts, dumbass & jerk seem to apply. "Ignorant" as well if you think Cairo is all pyramids and a poor airport. You surely would not qualify to be called an American (note: Capital 'A'😉, at least by me. Not now and not ever. Just stay in your little ideal world with your fellow perfect countryfolk.

Oh, and have a nice day!
