Before replying to your latest post (Michelangelo, Titian, et al), let us stick to the point at hand, your claim to recognise no authority. There is a fatal flaw in that position, which is easily exposed. Your position is equivalent to some club in the Champions League, Reims, for example, unilaterally declaring themselves champions, regardless what Arsenal or Real Madrid or anyone else has to say about it, and regardless of the rules which apply within the League. Suppose, furthermore, that Reims based their claim to being top dogs on having thrashed one and the same relegated club many times over in totally lopsided matches. Sound familiar? Should do. No one would take their claim seriously.
Furthermore, there is no such natural faculty as "conscience" -- such a 'faculty' is a function of socialisation and is nothing but the internalisation of external rules and mores for a given community. As for "an innate sense of justice," you missed the boat on that one. You cannot be part of a community of players (such as a League of Champions or a group of clans) on the one hand, and pretend you're not bound by any authority on the other. If you don't recognise the authority within the community to which you belong, then the authority which nonetheless exists is entirely within its rights not to recognise your claim to be champions and to divest you of any privileges within the community.
If you continue to act as a rogue within the community, you and your friends will find yourselves ostracised.
Granted, about once in a century, some enlarged soul arises who pricks the 'conscience' of a nation -- Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr. or Lech Wałęsa or Nelson Mandela. Evidently you fancy yourself in that role at RHP. I'll try to break this to you as gently as I can: B O L L O C K S !
