I like the idea of forum for religion. But the truth is if you don't like the religious content or commentary. IGNORE IT! If no one responed....it would go away. If the seed falls on stone, it won't sprout.

1 White So, keeping the forum thing going...It's not that I don't believe in God, it's just that he has so many things stacked against him. Religion is, in many ways, impractical, but it's just my opinion.

2 White Science has so many points against God, like the Big Bang, and evolution of Man over the past 5 billion years or so.
2 Black But that is mans mind not God's we live in a sinful fallen world. Why would you want to place your trust in people saying there was a big bang and not God.
3 White How else is there a rational explanation about Man appearing on a planet, that just "happened" to be made by an all-seeing, all-knowing entity? I just don't see any theological, nor reasonable explanation in the Bible.

and also-the debates forum split the comunity here a lot. i mean-i didn't know kirksey was still about until i started reading the debates. and no, religion is not currently splitting the community. everyone seems to be angry at one person and everyones getting confused, so if you'd all just leave him alone...
therefore, it shall split the community and shall have very little use.🙂

I don't think a separate religion forum would hurt, but no one can say it doesn't belong in Debates forums.
Here is where I see a problem. A relgion thread in General Forums?! You know it will become a debate!
If there were a separate Religion forum I would remove every post where someone cam in just to start debating. I think a religion forum would be a great place for some topics like Week studies etc... People could go there and actually participate in the thread, rather than listening to someone come in a not agree with any of it.
That is how I feel about it, and the only reason I would want to separate it from General forums.

Would'nt it be redundant to have a religious bible study on this site. Is the web not full of places already for this type of activity?
I do agree about the religious questions being in the debates. The only problem is with people who are there for other reasons but to cause problems, and not being there to learn something.
The religiouse debates will be just fine as I have found out with one currently running is that they can be civilized and productive once you get rid of the posts that digress from the topic.
Even Ivanhoe and Feivel can get along.....(crosses fingers)
