Sad night for Scotland. Sincere commiserations. I did have to laugh listening to Ali McCoist talking about the world cup finalists who were far and away the best passing team in the group through the brilliance of the evergreen Modric and Perisic. Must have been a different team that played England who were apparently so aging and decrepit that we should be ashamed of our defensive team selection and only winning 1.0. π€£

@blood-on-the-tracks saidDon't doubt it, Celtic did win the European Cup but was thinking more in recent times.
@Trev33
Going back a bit, Jim Baxter certainly played his best football for Rangers in the early 60s until injury and booze for to him.
At his best as then, he was world class
So, Spain are taking on the redoubtable Slovakia tomorrow for a chance to continue, and have been taking flack recently for most of their team seeming to snub their fans.
Spirits charge each other's spirits, back and forth. Does the team from Spain not appreciate that?
I don't know what to wish in such a case. It's not so much fun to win against such a team.
Maybe instead Slovakia could have a fun demo match against just Yoshi-P and Big-Spirit Soken from Team Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
@trev33 saidSo we have to find a player only from recent times who is world class but wasn't at their best while playing in Scotland, but played in Scotland. Forgotten exactly what this proves so I'll focus on three clean sheets, top of a group that included the world cup finalists and a home tie in the round of 16.
