Once-famous Bo Derek and her husband John, at a mall in Santa Barbara, a few years after the movie "10" and the Tarzan movie. I was surprised at her height (reported to be 5'3' or 160 cm.) She seemed taller running on that beach in Dudley Moore's imagination.

I've sifted through Gordon Lightfoot's garbage on more than one occasion.

I've got a restraining order against me from Geddy Lee, too.

I saw David and Victoria Beckham in Tesco in Prestwich. He used to regularly shop there when he played for Man Utd. I've also seen John Major near Leicester Square. Of all things I could have said, I said 'Alright john'. 😞

When I was about ten, our family waited at the airport for Dad to get in from a work-related trip to the East Coast. Senator Barry Goldwater came out of the same airplane, to our surprise. My brother yelled out, "Hi Barry!" but did not get any visible reaction from the senator. Dad told us, "I knew he was on the plane, but he sat up in first class."

What are your experiences seeing the famous, and maybe even shaking a hand?
Water Browne; E.M. Reubens; Ben Landey; Sidney Poitier; June Allyson; James Whittemore; "Red" Auerbach; Robert Frost. My wife Evelyn was invited to John F. Kennedy's Inauguration and danced with John, Bobby and Ted at The Inaugural Ball.

There are laws against that.
