I forgot, I shook Browne's hand. I forgot all about it, Browne on the other hand boasts all the time about meeting me. 😕

That's funny! I was just in the right place, etc. Born in East LA, as the song goes, getting an Irish band started and that got me to see some great folks.

One time, my band was called to play at a tennis players 'engagement ANNOUNCEMENT party, Tracy Austin, if anyone ever heard of her.

The thing about that gig was, we were put in a mezzanine to play and treated like dirt the whole time, not even being offered a glass of water.

I might add, Tracy Austin's family is megarich and they had a huge mansion.

So after the guests had finished with the food, which was in a big tent outside, we went to the tent and grabbed a few leftovers.

So immediately, a maid comes out and says 'you can't eat any of that food'.

So we collected our pay and left, a sour taste in our mouths for sure.

Funny part is, one of the founding members of the band, Judy, her dad was the # 3 man at 20th century fox, the comptroller, the dude that producers came to to beg for money! Judy was just as high up on the social totem poles as any of the Austins.

I actually love to watch tennis matches but cringe to this day when I see Tracy Austin as one of the commentators.

Apart from Frank Bruno they were all exceedingly glum![/b]

I met Ronald Biggs several times in Rio de Janeiro when working for CBS Recording during the 80s. His son Michael was part of a successful children's band at the time. I must say he was very charming and friendly. RIP.

I met Johnny Logan who has won the Eurovision twice and also penned a song that won it for someone else. Now, you don't get more famous than that!!!

You're not Frank Burns. You're an alien who has taken over his body and for the life of my I can't imagine why...look in the mirror.
