Yes everyone knows that Chinese own takeaways, they have done for eons. But the DVD sellers are more recently arrived and usually illegal immigrants. ANyone know if they sell are any good, Quality wise? I havn't bought any yet. The selection is usually rubbish anyway.

My city has a lot of Orientals. They all seem like industrious, hardworking people. Also, they always seem very polite. The guy who does my wife's nails had a picture of a car taped to his desk. He told her he was saving his money to buy it (for cash). They seem to own a lot of restaurants and hair/nail salons. What I can't figure out though is...you never see them in the grocery store or at the mall, or anywhere else. Where to they go when they aren't working??
