They were probably eager to take a break from their harsh winters and take a cruise further south? A bit like Stees escaping snowy Canada to sunbathe in Cuba.

Yes, he isn't one for any winter sports, like snowmobile, skies, Skating, Hockey....Well age could have to do with that one, curling, snowball fights, building snow forts, sliding down hill, again age could be an issue. 🙂..... J/K well half ways anyway Stees!!!

My Uncle who died 2 years ago now was the keeper of all the family's history (this is the history on my mum's side). There were some impressive stories. Sadly no one wrote them down before my uncle passed, so they're lost now. I only remember snippets of them. We had something to do with opium, someone was born on a boat before pirates took it, someone got away with murder ...[text shortened]... ally badly, someone was electrocuted by a frenemy when he was working... all these stories are lost.
Careful, @fmf will be along any moment to tell you that many Japanese people would be offended at being called 'Japs'. No? Well, lucky you.

We are all complex creatures even when some are very small minded weak people.
I'm very sorry about your inferiority complex.

The things you choose to actually engage on proves it all.

I forgot, actually engaged in without running away.

You never count your thumbs while you're still sitting at the table.

Family Trees?

Don't we all share a common ancestry with Adam and Eve, tree-wise? What nationality would that equate to?"

You seem upset by attention being drawn to your misconception about what the word "British" means. Indeed, you seem to have taken it very personally.

Go ahead, walk it back, like usual.
