My parents have grown old. They are still here, and still functional, for the most part. Still rational.
I treasure every moment I get to spend with them. They won't be here much longer, and I love them.
Think about your family, and make sure you enjoy the present - the current moment - with them, so that when you are old and sick, you can look back on your life and remember this moment. You will feel good about your life if you do. You will go through personal Hell later if you don't (guilt and remorse that is).

My family are disjointed, disfunctional and disappointing. I plan to make the family with my son and partner none of these thing.
