I've been fascinated by Bach ever since i started to play the piano (3 months ago, and little progress since...).

I think I prefer specific pieces to specific composers. I remeber hearing a Mozart piano concerto that was just so beautiful. I can describe it, but it sounds silly so I shan't.

As to Ravel, his Miroirs Oiseaux tristesperhaps my most and least favourite piece combined. It is so beautiful, and yet so haunting that it hurts to listen to. However, it is superbly written.

Try piano concertoes and Les jeux d' eau . And , symphonical stuff.
