I hate when americans make stupid restaurant signs or names like this just to imitate italians.
Pepperoni means nothing,the correct name for the vegetables is peperoni with one "r" and it has nothing to do with pepper,I guess that's why americans always translate it with two "r"s,they believe it has something to do with pepper.
Excuse for the rant,I used to work as the guy who makes pizzas (pizzaiolo).
