@Very-Rusty saidBosnia are ok, just ok. Fancied them to win but Canada at home makes a difference.
Was the other Team suppose to win?
Do they wear any protective gear? There seems to be a lot of kicking and tripping going on.
At least we didn't lose our first game on home soil.

Protective gear? Only shin pads.
Congrats on your draw 👏 it's not a hard group, good chance of beating Qatar and making the next round.
@The-only-Mr-T saidSo we actually played a mediocre team and only managed a draw?

Do you think home is actually an advantage or disadvantage because of expectations?
I've heard others that know the game well say Canada may have a chance of making it to the 3rd round also.

@Very-Rusty saidYes but it was a good draw.

It's an advantage playing at home. England and France both won the world cup playing at home, south Korea reached the semis. It helps but Canada aren't great so they need all the help they can get.
Out of the group is possible but no further imo. Mexico have the best chance out of the 3 hosts. But because of the seedings, all 3 hosts have a group they can qualify from.
@Very-Rusty saidCongratulations to Canada for great use of substitutions and winning a point.

@diver saidIf I am not mistaken it was one of those substitutions who scored the goal after 119 seconds.
Congratulations to Canada for great use of substitutions and winning a point.
This is what I found: Canadian substitute Cyle Larin scored an equalizer just 121 seconds (or 124 seconds depending on the broadcast timing) after coming onto the pitch in the 76th minute. His deflected swivelling strike in the box secured a 1-1 draw for Canada against Bosnia and Herzegovina in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Group B opener.

Netherlands, Japan, 2-2, was a very good fame. the teams were equal.
I mean, how much can you watch Germany wallop Curacao (7-1)?
@Ponderable must have loved that 🙂
@Earl-of-Trumps saidYes thank you. 🙂 A dream start for Sweden, I read in the news. 😍
A certain Swedish lady will be very happy today 🙂 😆
@Earl-of-Trumps saidThat's them through to the last 32 in all likelihood. Pretty daft this world cup imo with so many teams. Doesn't really start until the the last match of the group, everyone will have a chance to qualify in the final game.... Dumb.

@Wycombe-Al saidThat took ballz! and they did tie.
Cabo Verde to pull of the first shock of the tournament by beating Spain
I think Cape Verde has a very good goal tender.
