Geek Movies to See Before You Die

http://tinyurl.com/2fc2gy

I saw Brazil, Serenity, War Games (of course), Monty Python and the Holy Grail (obviously) ... um, that's it. I think I'm behind. I may have seen Star Trek IV -- I really can't remember which one I saw.

I've seen teh same four plus 12 monkeys, the Matrix, the Fifth Element, and Army of Darkness (many times). I've even seen teh Firefly TV series that came before Serenity. I've watched way to much TV.

I've seen both the Star Trek films mentioned, War Games, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and 12 Monkeys. I may have seen Brazil but I don't think I have.

The friend of mine who took me to see Firefly for a fundraiser first showed me at least half the series on DVD first.

I have only seen the two Star Trek films. (Star Trek IV is the one where they have to rescue two whales from 20th century Earth. I'd say it's the least geeky Star Trek film out of those I have seen (I-VIII).)

You'd remember Brazil. It's like no other movie.

I think it's good entertainment. Too bad it was shown in the wrong order in TV. The series had to be cancelled because of it. They made Serenity from the remaining money and to give it a proper finish.

we successfully transplanted all four limbs chopped off both knights in the Holy Grail. That did not stop us enjoying the film, even though we had trouble with the tissue matches.

The title is definately familiar, but the synopsis of the plot isn't. So I have a feeling that it's something I meant to watch on TV but didn't for some reason.

They showed it again for a week in the cinema a couple of years back. Definetely worth to see, although it's very strange.

I've seen office space (hilarious!), The Matrix, The Fifth Element, Shaun of the Dead, Dark City, War Games, both Star Trek films and I've seen part of Darkman (it was rubbish).
I haven't the Holy Grail though, but I want to.

I am a geek?

I thought you didn't like Star Trek? Why would you look at all those films if
you don't like the series in the first place? 😕

Personally, I think Star Trek First Contact was is the best one. I always had
this thing for the Borg. (Non-sexual, of course. You know you've been
talking too much about sex when you feel the need to point that out.)

I have no idea what would have given you the idea that I don't like Star Trek. I have the complete Original Series and The Next Generation on DVD, plus the mentioned films and a season of Deep Space Nine, and I didn't buy them because I hate Star Trek.

Oh, I have also seen "The Matrix". I think I didn't see it in the list because I am repressing it. Terrible film.

I saw all of them except Brazil. Is that one worth renting?

Matrix rocked! It's the two follow-ups that sucked (as usual).

You once proclaimed how much you detest (in so many words) Deanna Troy
(or was it the actor Marina Sirtes?), and I guess I made a full bird out of
that. Sorry. 😕
